Microfluidic-Fittings-Tubings-Adapters-Definitions-Ferrule

A ferrule is the smallest part of a microfluidic fitting, designed to be deformed by screwing the nut into the receiving port. By doing so, it blocks the tubing inside the nut and seals the port to the tubing. To choose the right ferrule, you have to know the design of the receiving port’s bottom (flat-bottom port, coned port, etc…).
