Expand your MFS capabilities with our upgrades.
Upgrade your old MFS to achieve IP 54 certification, ensuring it's protected against dust and water ingress.
Transition seamlessly from the laboratory to the field with equipment designed for durability in challenging environments.
Receive a thorough maintenance service, including cleaning and accuracy checks, complemented by an upgraded casing.
Elveflow is proud to introduce an upgraded casing for our MFS flow sensors, now featuring IP54 certification for enhanced resistance to water and dust. This improvement ensures that your sensors are more durable and reliable, even in challenging environments.
If you want you can upgrade your sensor by sending it back to our premises.
This service includes:
Cleaning process:
We use Hellmanex III at 2 % to properly clean the MFS range Elveflow sensor.
Accuracy check:
We use BFS flow sensor range on our bench test to check the accuracy of the MFS.
The Bronkhorst system has a sufficient precision to allow us to use them as a gauge instrument for the MFS range. Moreover since the BFS measure thanks to the use coriolis effect is not influenced by the nature if the liquid neither by the some contamination, it’s the perfect tool to test the cleaning procedure of the MFS range.
Casing upgrade:
The MFS range is becoming MFS+ thanks to the upgrade of their casing, to earn the IP 54 which makes them now resistant to dust and to water splashes.
The casing upgrade process is generally quick, typically completed within a week. However, since the procedure includes a thorough inspection of the flow sensor’s accuracy and cleanliness, the timeline could extend if any issues arise during testing.
Upgrades for the Microfluidic Flow Sensor (MFS) are expedited to minimize downtime. If you need to continue your experiments uninterrupted, we offer the option to rent an equivalent sensor for one month. For more details, please contact our experts.
No, immersion of the sensor in liquid is not advised as it is not certified for such use.
Yes, the MFS+ range is designed to operate effectively within both dry and humid incubators.
