An easy-to-handle device that ensures a simple microfabrication process
The replaceable head ensures a longer life for your equipment
The simple device’s plug initiates plasma generation easily
Elveflow’s Plasma Bonding Pen is a two-in-one handy tool for optimized surface treatment, ideal for bonding PDMS to glass and PDMS to PDMS. Additionally, it offers advanced surface modification capabilities commonly found in traditional plasma chambers but in a portable and easier-to-use way.
Our team of experts has tested the Plasma Pen to ensure it thoroughly seals PDMS microfluidic chips. The results showed perfect adhesion with no leakage for pressure up to 2 bar (maximum pressure used on PDMS).
A simple plug-and-play operation and a light, easy-to-handle device make it easy to bring it near the surface to treat. Thus, the new Plasma Bonding Pen facilitates and improves lab workflows by offering unparalleled flexibility, enabling seamless PDMS chip bonding right at your fingertips, no matter where you are in the lab.
This device is a CE-compliant device so that you can perform your plasma treatment in complete safety.
This instrument is built to last over time with a generator inside the body of the Plasma Bonding Pen that lasts several decades. Additionally, the head has a long lifespan (enough to bond around 1000 chips) and can be easily changed at a low cost if needed.
Engineered for optimal user experience, the Plasma Bonding Pen combines a compact and ergonomic design with a lightweight construction and an easy-to-use LCD interface. It is designed to give you exceptional control over various operational parameters like timer settings, power levels, and treatment processes.
This instrument can be included in the Starter Pack version of our PDMS Chip Replication station.
The PDMS station is a comprehensive toolkit that allows you to produce your PDMS chips easily and quickly:
