Louise Fournier
PhD, Scientific Marketing Operations
Louise Fournier, PhD, has a background in research at the interface of chemistry and biology. During her PhD at Université Paris Cité and INSERM, she worked on the development of ultrasound-responsive microbubbles for the targeted treatment of thrombotic diseases, with a particular focus on ischemic stroke. Her research explored how these microbubbles could carry thrombolytic drugs directly to blood clots, combining biomaterials, drug delivery and biomedical imaging. This work led to several scientific publications, including in Biomaterials, and contributed to the development of a patented microbubble synthesis approach.
Her research was recognized with the First Prize for Best PhD Thesis in Nanomedicine at SFNano 2023, followed by the 2024 Chancellerie des Universités de Paris Prize in Pharmacy. These distinctions reflect a research journey driven not only by scientific curiosity, but also by a strong interest in translating complex scientific concepts into approaches that can have a concrete impact.
At Elveflow, Louise now brings this scientific perspective to Scientific Marketing Operations. What she particularly enjoys is creating bridges between people with very different backgrounds (researchers, engineers, application specialists, sales and marketing teams) and helping them understand each other. Her goal is to make complex scientific topics accessible without oversimplifying them, connect emerging research needs with technological possibilities, and help scientific ideas travel beyond the communities in which they were first developed.
