Sébastien Cargou
PhD, COO of Elveflow
Sebastien completed his PhD at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse, developing a novel portable medical device to sort CD14+ cells on a microfluidic chip. He then spent eight years as CEO of BlackHole Lab, a company providing microfabrication stations that enabled researchers to become autonomous in fabricating their own microfluidic chips.
In 2022, BlackHole Lab merged with Elveflow, and Sebastien focused primarily on customer success initiatives, improving quality and processes to deliver high-quality service and products to Elveflow’s customers.
Today, he serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Elveflow and Scientific Advisor. He plays a key role in driving innovation within the company, overseeing the development of advanced microfluidic solutions, and ensuring the highest standards in both product performance and scientific expertise. His work closely bridges cutting-edge research with practical industrial applications.
