What is FEP Tubing ?

Microfluidic-Fittings-Tubings-Adapters-Definitions-FEPFluorinated ethylene-propylene tubing or FEP tubing is a nice alternative to PTFE teflon tubing and PFA tubing that exhibits many similar properties such as biocompatibility and a remarkable inertness to most chemicals. This flexible material with very good optical clarity, is mostly used for low-pressure microfluidics. Its melting point is 205°C. You can find FEP sleeves in our microfluidic 1/32 to 1/16 PTFE Capillary Tubing & Sleeves Kit.
